Victor Javier Gamboa

Mr. Victor Javier Cajija Gamboa, age 35, of Statesboro, passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2023 as a result of injuries sustained in a workplace accident at the construction site of the Metaplant America manufacturing facility in Bryan County.

Victor was a very hardworking man. He was very caring, he respected everyone and whenever someone was in need, he would do his best to help them out. Victor died working to support his family. He was a true man of God and a great father to his children, an amazing son, brother and cousin. He always made sure his mother was never in need.

Victor is survived by his mother, daughters Kimberly Gamboa, Esmeralda Sanchez, and Lydia Sanchez, his sons Alex Gamboa and Moises Sanchez all of Statesboro, GA; a sister, Gertrudis Gamboa of Tobasco, Mexico; a brother, Bartolo Gamboa of Atlanta, GA; cousins, Gloria Gamboa and Franklin Gamboa, and his Fiance', Carla Perez Jimenez all of Statesboro, GA.

Funeral and Life Celebration Services for Mr. Victor Gamboa will be held Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 10:00AM to 7:00PM at the Matthew H. Lovett & Son's Funeral Home with Pastor Angel Hernandez officiating.

There will also be a viewing held on Sunday, May 14, 2023 from 10:00AM to 5:00PM at the Matthew H. Lovett & Son's Funeral Home.

Burial services for Victor will take place in The town of Jos Mercedes Gamas First Section Municipality of Huimanguillo (in the State of Tabasco) in Mexico. The date will be announced later.

El Sr. Vctor Javier Cajija Gamboa, de 35 aos, de Statesboro, falleci el sbado 29 de abril de 2023 como resultado de las lesiones sufridas en un accidente laboral en el sitio de construccin de la planta de fabricacin Metaplant America en el condado de Bryan.

Vctor era un hombre muy trabajador. Era muy carioso, respetaba a todos y cada vez que alguien lo necesitaba, haca todo lo posible para ayudarlo. Vctor muri trabajando para mantener a su familia. Fue un verdadero hombre de Dios y un gran padre para sus hijos, un hijo, hermano y primo maravilloso. Siempre se asegur de que su madre nunca estuviera en necesidad.

A Victor le sobreviven su madre, sus hijas Kimberly Gamboa, Esmeralda Sanchez y Lydia Sanchez, sus hijos Alex Gamboa y Moises Sanchez todos de Statesboro, GA; una hermana, Gertrudis Gamboa de Tabasco, Mxico; un hermano, Bartolo Gamboa de Atlanta, GA; primos, Gloria Gamboa y Franklin Gamboa, y su prometida, Carla Perez Jimenez todos de Statesboro, GA.
