Hosea JaKeem Williams, affectionately known as Keemie, was born on June 24, 1993, in Statesboro, Georgia, to Mrs. Teresa V. Williams-Ross and the late Alfonza "Coot" Mikell. On August 21, 2025, Hosea was called home to be reunited with his father, Alfonza "Coot" Mikell; his grandmother, Annie Evans; his grandfather, Sonny J. As a child, Hosea began his early education in the Bulloch County School System before moving to Virginia and later Columbus, Ohio, where he earned his high school diploma. During this time, he was baptized and became a member of World Harvest Baptist Church in Columbus, Ohio.

He is also survived by his brothers: DeAlfonza Mikell of Salter, South Carolina; Nathaniel Tolbert, Jr. of San Francisco, California; Jesse Ross III of North Chicago, Illinois; and Nayden L. Tolbert of Statesboro, Georgia. His sisters: DeVona Hodge of Statesboro, Georgia; Honesti Tolbert and Majaila Tolbert of Statesboro, Georgia; Essence Ross of Little Rock, Arkansas; and Dajanor Ross and Heaven Ross of North Chicago, Illinois.

His grandparents, Hosea A. Williams of Auburndale, Florida; Annie R. Mikell, and Jenny Rembert both of Statesboro, GA; Rosie Burns North Chicago, IL and great-grandmother, Cora Williams of Statesboro, Georgia, also cherish his memory.

He is further survived by a host of aunts, including Angela (Rhonda) Williams, Startabia Williams, Charlene Nunnally, Tameka (LaShon) Roberts, Tywanda (Toddre) Thomas, and Tyquilla Rembert, all of Statesboro, Georgia; and Teyonna Young of Garner, North Carolina. His uncles: Sonny Mikell, Jr., Dontae Mikell, and Rico Mikell, all of Statesboro, Georgia; Chad (Kaylynn) Moore of Brunswick, Georgia; Willie (SaFron) Pipes and Marcus Bacon, both of Jacksonville, Florida. His cousin-sisters: Shoniqwua Howard and Angel Williams, along with many other loving relatives and friends, will continue to honor his life and memory.
