Julius James, Jr.

Mr. Julius Camel James Jr. entered into eternal rest on September 29, 2026, at East Georgia Regional Medical Center, following a brief illness. He was born in Savannah, Georgia, on March 15, 1967.

He attended Southeast Bulloch High School. He was an HVAC mechanic for more than 40 years and was employed by White’s Heating and Air and Walls Heating and Air.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Jessie James and Michael Al James.

He leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Julius C. James Sr. and Maddie James; his longtime significant other of 27 years, Kerr Taylor; his wife, Sarah James; and his children, Marcus Edward James (Ginger), Brittany Mychele James (Shunta), and Khyara Lakay James.

He is also survived by three sisters, Sherry Howard, Corine Crawford (Eddie), and Corretta Lee; two sisters-in-law, Joi James and Ada Perkins; three nephews, D’Angelo Rashawn James (India), Caleb Cotton, and Josiah Cotton; three nieces, Jessica James, Shaporscheah Black, and Paisley Crawford; three great-aunts; one great-uncle; eight aunts; and two uncles.

He also leaves behind a host of other family members and friends who will cherish his memory.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at AGAPE Worship Center, 810 West Grady Street, Statesboro, Georgia, beginning at 10:00 a.m.

The Celebration of Life Service for Mr. James will begin at 11:00 a.m. following the visitation.

Final disposition will be cremation.
