Robert Bierstedt

Matthew H. Lovett & Son’s Funeral Home announces the passing of Mr. Robert Bierstedt, age 82, of Statesboro. Mr. Bierstedt passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at his residence in Statesboro after an extended illness.

Robert was born in Gaylord, MN. He worked in construction for many years before retiring. He is preceded in death by his parents, his father the late Elmer William Bierstedt, and his mother the late Annie Minnie Bierstedt.

He leaves his memories to be cherished by his wife, Judy Ann Bierstedt of Statesboro, GA; his son Mark Bierstedt of St. Michael, MN; and his daughter, Claudia Etheridge of Statesboro, GA. 

Per Mr. Bierstedt's wishes, his final disposition will be cremation. His family will hold a private service to honor his life.
