On Thursday, April 23, 2026, God called our beloved Terry Mikell from labor to reward following a brief illness. Terry passed away peacefully at his residence in Register, Georgia, with his devoted sister by his side. He was under the compassionate care of Regency Southern Care Hospice.
Terry Mikell was born on March 16, 1965, to the late Clinton and Ammie Lee Mikell of Register, Georgia. He was educated in the Bulloch County Public School System. Terry was a dedicated employee of Robbin's Packing Company, where he worked for over twenty years. During his time there, he served in multiple roles and was known by his coworkers as a joy to be around--someone who was truly loved by many.

Terry had a love for life that was felt by everyone who knew him. His life was filled with warmth, happiness, and joy. He enjoyed watching football, especially cheering on his favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys. Known as the life of the party, Terry had a special gift for making people laugh and bringing light into every room he entered. His presence was warm, uplifting, and unforgettable. He never met a stranger and will be fondly remembered and truly missed by all who crossed his path.

Terry leaves to cherish his loving memories: his daughter, Shemaury (Kristen) Mikell; his son, Roderick Curtis (Irene); five grandchildren, Ja'Niya Mikell, Khloe' Robbin's, Shannon Stevenson of Reidsville, GA, Roderick Curtis, Jr., and Raylen Curtis of Augusta, GA. He is also survived by two brothers, James (Sonja) Mikell of Register, GA, and Jerry (Latrease) Mikell of Statesboro, GA; one sister, Barbara Everett of Register, GA; one brother-in-law, Willie Robinson of Register, GA; and one sister-in-law, Penny Mikell of Nevils, GA.
