During one of the most challenging times for my family, Matthew H. Lovett & Son's Funeral Home provided exceptional and compassionate service that significantly eased our distress. The sudden and tragic loss of my father, who died in a workplace accident, left us in deep grief. Mr. Lovett's attention to our needs and attention to detail stood out. From the arrangements to the final services, Mr. Lovett handled everything with utmost professionalism and sensitivity. He ensured that my father was presented in a way that was both dignified and peaceful; it truly appeared as though he was sleeping. This brought us comfort with how great he looked. The funeral was held at his funeral home was nice and respectful, perfectly honoring my father's memory. Furthermore, Mr. Lovett went above and beyond by assisting us in transporting my father's remains back to Mexico for burial. My father was honored greatly. Mr. Matthew, took great care of my father and made this an extremely easy and simple process. He went above and beyond what was necessary. The facility is very beautiful. Plenty of natural light and located right on a beautiful pond. The angels were free to come in it felt like. I lost my Mother recently, which was tragic and tough to process initially. However, the Lord blessed us with Mr. Lovett to take care of her funeral services at Matthew H. Lovett & Sons Funeral Home, LLC. To start, Mr. Lovett is extremely professional and exceptionally humble, not to mention just an all around great man. He charged us a fraction of the costs of the competitors in the area and went way above and beyond the services the competitors were offering. For example, he allowed us to hold our funeral service at his beautiful funeral home right outside town for no extra cost, and he offered it for as long as we liked. Additionally, he included 2 copies of the death certificate for no extra charge where the competitors were charging $20 for the first and $5 per additional copies. And I haven’t even begun to mention the patience and care he put into every detail of the process to make it not just a beautiful service to honor my Mother, but also a memorable experience for the family who attended. He even included a complimentary portrait of Mother on canvas. The entire day was special thanks to Mr. Lovett, and because he was so generous and his services were so affordable I was able to use the savings to make sure it was as beautiful as my Mother deserved it to be. Mr. Lovett exceeded all expectations, I am very grateful for him and I would recommend him to anyone!

Noel's Homegoing Celebration. I am extremely grateful for the care my family and I received from Matthew H. Lovett & Sons Funeral Home when my husband passed. We had a couple of non-traditional requests that they were happy to honor. Mr. Matthew Houston Lovett and his staff were very compassionate, and friendly and answered all our questions promptly. My son was suddenly and tragically taken away from us on 08/20/2023. A couple of days later, I made the decision to reach out to Matt in hopes that he would handle the final care for my baby here on earth. He accepted, and I feel it was definitely the best decision for me and my family. Matthew and his staff handled everything with care and compassion from start to finish and even after. He made us feel like “FAMILY” vs. just a client paying for services. He provided his knowledge and support no matter the hour that it was needed in and that made the process so much easier and the load a little lighter to carry during this time. My siblings and I lost our father on January 12, 2024. I reached out to Mr. Lovett because my father lived in Statesboro. The first conversation lasted about 10 minutes and we knew that this is who we wanted to take care of our father's arrangements. Mr. Lovett was very compassionate and very welcoming to our family, giving us time to grieve before discussing any business. We appreciate how dedicated, comforting and accommodating him and his staff was with us in our time of sorrow. Under his direction, we didn't have to worry about anything. The customer service was A-1! Our father's home going was extremely beautiful and our father looked great! The programs, portrait, and blanket were beautiful! I HIGHLY recommend Matthew H.
